Holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a Master in Corporate Legal Counseling from the Instituto de Empresa.
His professional career began at the Legal Department of the SGS Lodge Service multinational (1998-2000).
In 2000 he joined our multidisciplinary law firm, Balms Abogados, as a lawyer, only to later be appointed partner and Director of the Madrid office in 2006.
Throughout his entire career, he oriented his activity towards the civil and commercial area, gaining extensive experience in international transactions based on the trade field, private equity and real estate law; he also participated actively in the creation of corporate structures, family office consultancy and implementation of foreign companies in Spain through the creation of joint ventures, partnerships etc.
Jorge is in addition, secretary to the Council of the multinationals within the electronics and finance sectors, and external consultant for two American banking entities that are very renowned for their operations in Spain.
He has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1999, and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
