Workshop - Balms Advisory

On the 21st and 22nd of November, a series of breakfast meetings were held at the offices of Balms Lawyers Marbella, by the consultant Balms Advisory, where the theme of the conference was the presentation of legislative developments in the field of prevention of money laundering and its sanctioning system.

Royal Decree-Law 11/2018, of 18 August, introduced major changes to the current regime up to that time, increasing penalties and reinforcing the obligations of the obliged subjects.

Because it is precisely one of the areas in which BALMS ADVISORY is developing its activity (advice and consultancy in this matter) and due to the great concern, that the new Decree-Law has generated in many companies, Balms Advisory offered to companies and individuals a presentation, which showed the major changes approved, emphasising those that are obliged to comply with the regulations and the risk of sanctions that have not yet been adopted.

The sessions were held in a pleasant work environment, where a colloquium with the consultants and other guests was subsequently held.
